Let not your hopes die,

Don’t you dare give up and cry.

It is up to you to decide.

Either you let all these evils mar the pages of your life with tears.

Or you paint wonderful dreams and overcome your fears.

Do you want your heart to smile with mirth ?

Or do you want it to freeze with unshed tears ?

It is entirely up to you,

To kill that wonderful person,

The one with

A crooked smile but careless laughter,

Not skinny but a healthy body,

Not dazzling coloured orbs, but youthful  eyes, full of life.

Not the society approved spotless skin but a face that shines bright with inner happiness.

Not a controlled giggle to appease the social norms

But the one that laughs with no worries. The kind of laughter where your eyes water, you redden and your stomach hurts from laughing too hard. The kind of laughing where people call out to you and say that you sound like a “dying seal” and this just makes you laugh even more. The kind of laughter where it is just you, happiness and your laughter echoing through your world.

It is up to you to save …

The girl who wears make up, not to hide herself but because she likes it.

The girl who doesn’t have the talent to sing but is sporty enough to bob her head to the beats of the music, throw her hands up, sway her hips and sing out loud “Just the way you are !” No matter how off pitch she is, no matter how bad she sounds, she is participating, enjoying herself with her friends, dancing around, joining the madness.

The girl who doesn’t have a single tumblr perfect picture but has millions of random pictures to decorate her memory wall.

The girl who is not known by the entire world which is pointless but is loved and cared about, by the few people she knows and matter.

The girl who is strong enough to

overcome her failures and move on. The girl who is caring enough to lend her friend a shoulder to cry upon and has killer moves to murder the person who hurt her loved one.

Don’t you see it ? Don’t you realize, how perfect you are ? You are perfect because you are “you” and not some imaginary person designed by the society.

I beg to differ when people call you flawed. You are not “flawed”. You are an artwork in making. And the day you realize your real worth, the day you realize that there is no other diamond like you, out there, you’ll be perfect and everything will fall in place.

You don’t want to be that girl going around  with a fake smile during the day but stays cooped up in a corner of the bathroom, with the make up running down her face while tears leave their traces. You don’t want to be that girl starving herself to be perfect for the society. You don’t want to be the girl who tries too hard to be perfect but ends up ruining everything. You don’t want to be that girl who knows millions of people yet is alone when in need of someone to comfort her.

You don’t want to be the girl with perfect blue eyes, perfectly curved smile but not feeling it. You don’t want to be the girl trying to calculate her laughter while indulging in merry talks. You don’t want to be “her”. You don’t want to be the “society -perfect” girl who cries herself to sleep and loathes herself to a point where everything is pointless, even her life.

You want to be you. And what are you ?

“Admirable, adorable, alluring, angelic, appealing, beauteous, bewitching, captivating, charming, classy, comely, cute, dazzling, delicate, delightful, divine, elegant, enthralling, enticing, excellent, exquisite, fair, fascinating, fetching, fine, foxy, good-looking, gorgeous, graceful, grand, handsome, ideal, lovely, magnetic, magnificent, marvelous, mesmeric, nice, pleasing, pretty, pulchritudinous, radiant, ravishing, refined, resplendent, shapely, slightly, splendid statuesque, stunning, sublime, superb, symmetrical, taking, tantalizing, teasing, tempting, well-formed, winning, wonderful.”

Each and every word from the above paragraph describes you,  simply because you are “you” and nothing could have been better than that. Chin up, keep smiling.
